The first season of this series was released this week July 12 on DVD/Blu-ray. Although this would not be my kind of thing to watch, I did and liked it. I think it’s more the mystery/suspense of it all that I liked.

Slasher (2016- ) TV Series

Slasher is a American-Canadian television horror anthology series starring Katie McGrath. Produced in association with the Canadian network Super Channel, Slasher is the first original series by U.S. TV channel Chiller, which premiered the series on Friday, March 4, 2016, at 9:00 pm EST(UTC-05). Super Channel aired the show's Canadian premiere on April 1, 2016.

The series' first season, which centered on a mysterious figure billed as "The Executioner" terrorizing the fictional town of Waterbury, Canada, was filmed between July and October 2015 inSudbury, Parry Sound, and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Series synopsis ~

Sarah and her husband move back to her hometown where she was born and into her parents' previous home where they were brutally murdered. Her mother was pregnant with her at the time she was killed. The police arrived at the crime scene only to find the murderer holding her after he cut her out of her mom's womb. Sarah finds herself now faced with the beginning of a sequence of copycat murders by a killer dressed in identical clothing worn by her parents' killer.

This one just doesn't grab me, though Dexter didn't at first, either. Then I watched all 8 seasons of it on a recommendation & enjoyed it quite a bit.
