The Divergent Series: Allegiant is coming out next week July 12 on DVD/Blu-ray. I will definitely get this one for sure!

Allegiant (2016)

In this dystopian world, a young man and woman fight for their very lives. Realizing that they must make a move, they cross the boundary that separates them from the rest of the world, the fence. Of course, they soon begin to realize that this bold action has stark implications that are more pressing than they ever could have realized. When a cryptic agency known as Bureau of Genetic Welfare takes them into custody, the pair quickly begin to realize that things have not been what they seemed.

I liked the first two installments, this one not so much, I realize this is the first of a two part section so it's like a long setup for the second part, I'm assuming as that is how these things usually go but as a stand alone I was not so impressed.

I plan to watch it again once it hits disc but I'm not expecting my opinion to change at this point.

I'm kinda in the same boat. It was OK, but unsatisfying. I guess we'll have to wait & see.

Normally on a 2 parts like these, I wait to watch them both together but I was going to make an exception with this one. Now, you have changed my mind and I'm going with my original plan A... lol

Yeah, Vince has a point. It may be best to wait for the final one & do a marathon.
