Although I’ve had this series on my list since the beginning, I haven’t seen one single episode as of yet. It was cancelled after 3 seasons, so the marathon-viewers... on your marks, let set, go! lol

Penny Dreadful (2014-2016) TV Series

Penny Dreadful is a British-American television series created for Showtime and Sky by John Logan, who also acts as executive producer alongside Sam Mendes. The show was originally pitched to several US and UK channels, and eventually landed with Showtime, with Sky Atlantic as co-producer. The series premiered on Showtime on May 11, 2014, the first in an eight-episode season. After the third season finale on June 19, 2016, series creator John Logan announced that Penny Dreadful had ended from the main story reaching its conclusion.

Series synopsis ~

Some of literature's most terrifying characters, including Dr. Frankenstein and his monster, Dorian Gray, and iconic figures from the novel Dracula are lurking in the darkest corners of Victorian London. They are joined by a core of original characters in a complex, frightening new narrative. Penny Dreadful is a psychological thriller filled with dark mystery and suspense, where personal demons from the past can be stronger than vampires, evil spirits and immortal beasts.

Looked pretty good early one so it made my list. A marathon sounds like a good plan.

It's almost tempting, but my wife & I decided decades ago that anything listed as a 'psychological thriller' was one to give a wide berth.

Some love it, I could not get into it, I watched the first five episodes, it did nothing for me, I think Eva Green is hot and I was still not tempted to watch it further...
