This movie came out today June 28 on DVD/Blu-ray. It looks pretty good.

EYE IN THE SKY stars Helen Mirren as Colonel Katherine Powell, a UK-based military officer in command of a top secret drone operation to capture terrorists in Kenya. Through remote surveillance and on-the-ground intel, Powell discovers the targets are planning a suicide bombing and the mission escalates from "capture" to "kill." But as American pilot Steve Watts (Aaron Paul) is about to engage, a nine-year old girl enters the kill zone triggering an international dispute, reaching the highest levels of US and British government, over the moral, political, and personal implications of modern warfare.

Actually, I've already seen it & fell asleep 30 minutes in. I woke up 10 minutes before it ended & the ending was abysmally maudlin, if you ask me. My wife thought it was crap, too. Way too preachy without any decent answers to what else we're supposed to do that makes any sense. I saw another one last year, called Drones (2013), which it looks like this one tried to rip off with a bigger budget. Drones was better. I didn't see that Helen Mirren provided all that much, except her name.

Well, that pretty much settles that. I normally like these kind of movies but feedbacks here are not very positive...
