So I just finished my first custom cover from scratch, that I don't completely hate. Please don't crucify me. Any tips on improving are very welcome. I'm like a babe in the woods...haha

Looks pretty good. If you would like advise or suggestions on what you do to improve then this would be best posted in the WIP section. Let me know and I can move it there if you like.

No, thank you. I'm happy with it. I don't plan on changing it further. I just don't know if it's up to snuff for community standards. And if there's any tips going forward for future covers, I'd be welcome to them is what I meant.

Would probably add frames around the stills so they don't blend into the image behind them.

You have a choice going forward. Either put you covers in the WIP thread if you want further input to improve cover or upload it and see if it passes our quality test.
