MacGyver (2016- ) TV Series

MacGyver is an upcoming American television drama series, a reboot of the 1985–92 ABC series of the same name. The series will premiere on Friday September 23, 2016 at 8:00PM on CBS.

Series synopsis ~

A reimagining of the classic series, is an action-adventure drama about 20-something Angus "Mac" MacGyver who creates a clandestine organization within the U.S. government where he uses his extraordinary talent for unconventional problem solving and vast scientific knowledge to save lives. Joining his team on high-risk missions around the globe is maverick former CIA agent Jack Dalton. Under the aegis of the Department of External Services, MacGyver takes on the responsibility of saving the world, armed to the teeth with resourcefulness and little more than bubble gum and a paper clip.

I didn't care for the first one, so I'm doubting this will have much appeal for me...

Alright, I've watch the first episode tonight and I wasn't very impressed. Hubby wants to try another couple of episodes before calling it quits, but I'm not as optimist about this series as him. Personally, I don't find the very young actor playing MacGyver credible enough for the part they gave him. The whole thing is predictable with very cheesy lines.

I was afraid of that. Given your response to it, I think I'll pass. There are plenty of decent series to watch. No need to put up with a stinker. Thanks, Chewy.
