Retirement

Postby Pip » Tue May 03, 2022 7:26 pm

Well, last month I reached the ripe old age of 66 which meant I became officially able to retire and just relax.

Then a very good friend of over 20yrs (aged 74) got in touch to ask if I would help with 2 jobs he possibly had coming. Of course I said yes as I have worked with him many times before (and he pays well!).

So much for my retirement! =O

I also know we are having a joint birthday/double retirement party in June ( :Beer :Beer :Beer ) as he says he's finally, definately, without doubt, retiring when his Trade Affilliation expires in August. I'll belive it when I see it, he's said it before. I've let mine expire at the end of April and have no intention of renewing, I can be comfortable in my retirement so why bother?

There's a moral here somewhere for all the members of this site. I'll leave it for a few days to see if any of you can spot it.
Sad Lexa Doig Fan and PROUD of it!
